La Diosa Mezcal
Rooted in Fire. Shaped by Myth. Designed by WIN.
This mezcal doesn’t want to be just another spirit on the shelf.
It was designed around a deeper question: why people drink mezcal – and when it truly matters.
Mezcal isn’t consumed for refreshment. It’s chosen for ritual. For connection. For grounding moments that slow time down. It’s a drink tied to origin, patience and respect for craft – and that belief became the foundation of this design.
At the heart of the concept stands Mayahuel, the Aztec goddess of the agave. A symbol of fertility, nourishment and transformation. She represents the raw power of nature and the sacred relationship between people, land and fire. This mythology isn’t decoration here – it is the soul of the brand.
The bottle itself becomes a statement of independence. Its custom, sculptural form breaks away from standard spirits silhouettes and immediately signals that this mezcal follows its own rules. The use of ceramic reinforces this attitude: earthy, tactile and imperfect in the most honest way. It reflects the origin of mezcal – dug from the ground, shaped by heat, finished by hand. The material doesn’t hide the process; it celebrates it.
Illustration plays a central role in the storytelling. Every visual element is fully self-illustrated, creating a world that feels ancient yet contemporary. Mayahuel appears not as a distant myth, but as a living presence – watching, guarding, empowering the liquid inside. The illustrations are raw, expressive and intentional, mirroring the character of mezcal itself: smoky, complex, unapologetic.
Rather than relying on loud colors or decorative excess, the design builds tension through restraint. Form, material and illustration work together to create a bottle that feels ceremonial – something you don’t just open, but approach. On the shelf, it doesn’t shout. It stands. Calm. Heavy. Certain.
This mezcal explores what happens when packaging design moves beyond branding and becomes an object of meaning. An object that carries origin, belief and craft in every detail. It transforms the point of sale into a moment of pause – inviting consumers to engage not just visually, but emotionally and culturally.
Individually, the bottle is powerful.
But as part of a larger narrative – of agave, mythology and ritual – it becomes something more.
Not just a mezcal.
A tribute to origin.
A design rooted in fire, earth and story.
